ARIA is the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Association of Trinidad & Tobago. The ARIA Technical Institute Ltd (ATI), developed by ARIA to fill a societal need, has enabled the fast-growing HVAC industry to certify technicians on the basis of an accredited system. Its North American based Refrigeration Service Engineers Society (RSES) syllabus is registered by the Accreditation Council of Trinidad & Tobago (ACTT). ATI takes pride in the excellence of its trained technicians.

ARIA Technical Institute Limited and The Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Association
The Members and Board of Directors of ARIA are stakeholders in the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Industry who recognized that there was a shortage of properly trained professional technicians in the field of Air Conditioning and Refrigeration established The ARIA Technical Institute Limited (ATI) as a means of addressing this shortage.
The Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technology Programme currently conducted at ATI, had its start under the umbrella of the ARIA Industry Training Organization (ITO) which was jointly developed by ARIA and the National Training Agency (NTA) in 2004 until it was incorporated as a Technical Institute on the 4th day of December, 2006 in accordance with the Companies Act of Trinidad & Tobago.
The Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technology Programme currently conducted at ATI, had its start under the umbrella of the ARIA Industry Training Organization (ITO) which was jointly developed by ARIA and the National Training Agency (NTA) in 2004 until it was incorporated as a Technical Institute on the 4th day of December, 2006 in accordance with the Companies Act of Trinidad & Tobago.

ARIA is a membership Association primarily made up of companies, professionals, and students from the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (ACR) Sector of Trinidad & Tobago and its Associates.

ARIA was formed in 1998, incorporated on the 26th of January 1999, and official launched on the 14th of February 1999 under the patronage of the Environmental Management Authority (EMA), The United Nations (UN), with guidance of the Trinidad and Tobago Manufacturers Association (TTMA), and the Ministry of Trade and Industry. The launch was attended by then Government Ministers Mr. Mervyn Assam and Mr. Trevor Sudama, along with other invited guests.
