Inverter Technology Workshop

The Inverter Technology Workshop presented by Rajesh Balraj at ARIA Technical Institute. This workshop covers new inverter technology, including the vapor compression cycle, circuit board operation and parts, inverter vs. non-inverter differences, compressor modulation, sensor explanation and troubleshooting, installation best practices, flow chart and error code troubleshooting, and major component troubleshooting. Chill Water Systems Workshop

9th November 2024

The Chill Water Systems Workshop, presented by Rudson Scott, provided participants with an in-depth understanding of the main components of chiller plants, various types of chillers, typical chiller mechanical cycles, and chilled water piping design basics. The session also covered cooling tower fundamentals, CW system accessories, pump selection, and best practices for system design and operation. Next Generation of Cooling - 5K Event

25th June 2023

On Sunday, 25th June 2023, ARIA Technical Institute, in collaboration with the Ministry of Planning and Development and our partners, hosted the "Next Generation of Cooling" 5K event in honor of World Refrigeration Day at UWI Inn, St. Augustine. This free event saw enthusiastic participation in both the 5K run and the 5K Cool Hatters Fun Walk, where participants donned themed headwear, adding a festive touch. Medals and prizes were awarded to top performers, and attendees enjoyed free T-shirts and light refreshments. The event successfully raised awareness about the importance of temperature control and the future of cooling technology, bringing the community together for a fun and educational experience. We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who participated and made the day memorable.

Good Servicing Practices for Flammable Refrigerants Workshop

The Good Servicing Practices for Flammable Refrigerants Workshop presented by Maurice Mc Barnette at ARIA Technical Institute. This workshop provided an overview of flammable refrigerants and their applications, emphasizing the importance of pre-service safety checks, proper recovery and venting methods, inert measures, repairs and choke tests, pressure tests, and leak detections. Additionally, evacuation and charging procedures, operational checks, and proper labeling of equipment and refrigerant containers were discussed. World Refrigeration Day Scavenger Hunt

31st July 2022

ARIA's Scavenger Hunt in honor of World Refrigeration Day. At this free event participants were invited with their vehicles to solve riddles, find treasures, and win prizes. Fun team categories: best dressed, most enthusiastic, best themed, biggest, best all-female, best corporate, and best family encouraged enthusiasm towards the prize-winning. The event started with teams gathering in Barakah Grounds, Chaguanas where the first riddle was distributed to guide participants along the Scavenger Hunt's route. Free T-Shirts were distributed, and surprise activities Refrigeration Jingle and Newspaper Fashion Show were held.

 The first Facebook Live Stream event was hosted at ARIA Technical Institute, where members of the ATI and ARIA board gathered to discuss all things HVAC with viewers.

Certified Member Class Certificate Distribution

6th May 2022

The Certified Member Class Certificate Distribution was hosted at ARIA Technical Institute, in accompany with ATI and ARIA board members and Administration. Seven (7) ATI students were granted their international Certificate Membership from the Refrigeration Service Engineer Society (RSES) of North America. 

ATIL Graduation Ceremony / ARIA 20th Anniversary

24th January 2020

The ATIL Graduation Ceremony / ARIA 20th Anniversary was hosted at the House of Angostura, in accompany with special guests from the ACTT, Media TV 6, Environment and Planning Ministry, and from partnered AC Companies. The ARIA anniversary celebration was held for 20 years of service in the industry. The ATIL 2020 Graduation Ceremony was held for all levels and the RSES Certified Membership awardees.
